About the event
Bachata is a partner dance from the Dominican Republic, loved for its playful rhythm, hip motion and close connection. In this one-hour workshop, Mary Lobo takes you through the core of the dance. You’ll work on the basic step and timing, lead and follow, turns and simple patterns, and styling that lets you dance with confidence and feel the music.
The workshop runs every Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in Khar West, Mumbai.
Come for a single session to try it out, or keep coming back to build your Bachata week by week. If you’re already joining the Kizomba workshop at 5:00 PM, you can stay on and make it a full Sunday of dance.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that let you turn easily. Bring a water bottle.
